Ruby Hill Park

Located at 1200 W. Florida Avenue (at the corner of Florida and Platte River Drive), Ruby Hill Park is one of the key attractions of our neighborhood. With hills that provide fantastic views of Denver, plenty of open space and amenities, and an easily accessed location, the park draws visitors from all across the metro area.
Improvements to the park are coming, including Levitt Pavilion, which will be an area for free concerts in the park; a new mountain biking park that will also have a skate skills area; and more improvements to the playground, plus volleyball and basketball courts.
Facilities include a picnic shelter, picnic tables, benches, playground, outdoor pool, sculptures, restrooms, baseball/softball field, bike/pedestrian path, natural areas, drinking fountain, flower beds, and a pavilion.
The park is home to the Ruby Hill Community Garden.
In the winter, the Parks and Recreation department and Winter Park host the free Ruby Hill Rail Yard for snowboarders and skiers.

I see part of Ruby Hill has been blocked off. I hope it isn’t a permanent thing .as people of the community drive threw it on a dayle basis.
Lynn, yes, part of the park is blocked off while the construction of Levitt Pavilion is being completed. The grand opening of this new concert venue in our neighborhood is this Thursday. Throughout the construction, the park has remained open and access to Mexico and to Florida has been available to the community.
Are there picnic tables and grills near the bike park
There is a covered picnic pavilion (with tables) next to the playground and within sight of the bike park (though it’s a fair walk down the hill). There are no grills.
