* Free loader service into trucks and trailers is available at the Havana Nursery site only.
Pre-bagged Denver’s Own EcoGro™ Compost and bulk compost will be sold at a reduced price of $4 per one-cubic-foot bag, or $35 per cubic yard (bulk) at the Havana Nursery location only. Limit 20 bags or three cubic yards of compost per vehicle.
Compost is a soil amendment made from decomposed organic materials, such as yard debris and food scraps from Denver’s green collection carts. When added to soil, compost helps plants thrive by contributing nutrients, enabling soil to retain more water, and more. Mulch is a natural groundcover and can be used to control weeds, retain soil moisture and protect shallow-rooted plants. The free mulch offered at this event is made from ground-up trees collected through Denver’s Treecycle program.
