Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Recreation Facility Permitting Policy

Notice is hereby given that the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is seeking input on the proposed Policy for Recreation Facility Permitting. This policy outlines how members of the public can reserve and use certain recreation facilities for their own temporary activities; including terms of use, application requirements, permitting process, and more. This policy formalizes the permitting process into an online and in-person system to create an efficient and standardized structure across recreation centers. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will hear public comments on this draft on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 5:30 pm at the regular meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, held at the Wellington Webb Municipal Building, located at 201 W. Colfax Ave., Room 4.F.6. A copy of the proposed plan is on file with the Manager of Parks and Recreation and accessible through the Denver Parks and Recreation website.
