Developer launches $18M low-income project in Ruby Hill

An article on BusinessDen.com announces construction starting on a new low income apartment complex at Mississippi and Pecos.
The developer of the Ruby Hill Residences will receive Section 42 Low-Income Housing Tax Credits in exchange for keeping the rent rates within range of families earning $25k-$35k/year. There will be 114 units, 29 of which will be reserved for homeless veterans. The non-Section 8 tenants will also receive reduced rental rates. The developer is hoping to open to tenants in spring of 2016.
