EXTERNAL Denver wants your input for a new building and fire code
We have a couple of important announcements – please share these with your RNO members and neighbors:
- Denver is updating its building and fire code. This is a public process ongoing now that will culminate in the city proposing a new code for City Council adoption much later this year. Read the press release or follow the progress.
- Next Tuesday evening, March 26th, our residential permitting team will be at Decker Public Library to talk about building and zoning codes for single-family homes and duplexes. We’ll go over permitting basics, give an introduction to zoning, discuss what’s required of homeowners pulling their own permits, talk about permits/building codes for common projects, and have plenty of time for Q&A. If you’re thinking about a spring project, this would be a great event to attend. Invitation attached.
