Full Closure of Mississippi from Santa Fe to South Broadway

**Update 5/10/16** The full closure along this stretch has been extended. One lane is expected to reopen for westbound traffic on May 13.

Beginning this Thursday, April 21, at 9:00am, and for the next couple of weeks, there will be a full closure of Mississippi Avenue from Santa Fe Drive to South Broadway for waterline installation and paving work. Mississippi Avenue is expected to reopen Saturday, May 7, at 9:00am. The work is part of Denver Public Works’ South Broadway Reconstruction Project, which will improve the roadway surface and enhance mobility for pedestrians and people on bikes. Pedestrian access will be maintained on Mississippi during construction. Detour signs will be posted. More information can be found at www.sobroi25.com.
