Southwest Denver Neighborhoods Meeting Notes

Below is a recording of the Southwest Denver Neighborhoods Meeting, held February 21st, 2017. This meeting took the place of the Ruby Hill-Godsman Neighborhood Association’s monthly meeting for February, and included people from the surrounding neighborhoods of Athmar Park, Overland Park, Westwood, Mar Lee, and Valverde.

The speakers at the meeting were:

• Mayor Michael Hancock, who spoke about some of the things happening in Southwest Denver and answered a few questions from neighbors
• Commander Fleecs from Denver Police Department District 4, who spoke about crime statistics and DPD’s responses
• Levitt Pavilion CEO Chris Zacher, who, along with a few others from Levitt Pavilion and Denver Parks and Recreation, spoke about the outdoor amphitheater project and answered questions from neighbors.
